Sophia Stillerova

BA Psychological Science (Hons), M. Clinical Psychology

What is your background?

As a psychologist, I have had experience and enjoy working with various clients and presentations, however, I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I primarily work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, however, I tailor sessions to suit the individual and integrate approaches from other modalities where best practice dictates.

What are your strengths?

I strive to bring a genuine, empathic, and understanding approach to my sessions. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients, as I believe the therapeutic relationship is very meaningful. I also enjoy utilising creativity and humour in sessions. My areas of interest involve anxiety, mood, relational difficulties, and trauma.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my spare time I enjoy being creative and spending time around animals and nature.
