How we work varies depending on why you have been referred.
But generally, this is what happens …
1
Your First Session. In our first session together, we’ll take the time to get to know you, what’s been happening in your life, what’s brought you to therapy, and how you’ve been feeling emotionally, mentally, and physically. We’ll explore some of your history and current challenges, and together we’ll start identifying your goals for therapy.
This first session is a chance to build trust and create a safe space where you can feel heard and understood.
2
Beyond Initial Session, In future sessions, we’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you. This may include learning practical strategies to manage difficult emotions like anxiety, stress, or low mood, developing self-awareness, strengthening relationships, or exploring long-standing patterns that are affecting your wellbeing.
We take a collaborative, evidence-based approach and tailor therapy to suit your goals, strengths, and preferences. Whether you’re navigating a tough period, wanting to better understand yourself, or looking to make meaningful changes in your life, we’re here to support you.
We offer sessions in our Toowong clinic and Zoom from Monday to Saturday.
Call us or click and submit a New Client Enquiries form (button at the top of the screen) and we will find a time and a psychologist to suit you.
