What is your work background?

I am a Provisional Psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across a range of settings, including schools, outpatient hospital services, and community-based roles. I have worked with individuals presenting with a variety of concerns, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression.

My training has provided opportunities to work across university clinics, hospitals, and educational settings, helping me develop a flexible and collaborative approach to care. I am committed to providing client-centered support and draw on evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Why do you like working with children adolescents and families?

I’m passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families because it allows me to support young people at some of the most important and formative stages of development. I value the opportunity to build trusting, safe relationships where young people feel heard, understood, and empowered to express themselves in ways that feel comfortable for them.

Working within a family context is especially meaningful to me, as I believe meaningful change happens when caregivers are supported and included as key partners in the therapeutic process. I enjoy helping families better understand their child’s unique strengths and needs, and working collaboratively to develop practical, strengths-based strategies that can be carried into everyday life.

What are your strengths?

My key strengths are my ability to build strong rapport with others, and to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. I strive to develop genuine therapeutic relationships based on trust, empathy, and collaboration.

I am also passionate about providing inclusive and neuroaffirming care, ensuring that each individual feels understood, respected, and valued for who they are. I take a strengths-based approach, recognising and building on each person’s unique abilities while tailoring support to meet their individual needs and goals.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, as well as exploring new coffee shops and restaurants. Having spent much of my life living overseas, I have developed a strong passion for travel and enjoy experiencing different cultures and places.
